First Visit
Patient Forms
The first step is to give us a call at (434) 245-8456 and schedule an appointment. You can either download our forms from the web, or request that we fax, mail or e-mail them to you. If you would rather, you may come to the office 15-20 minutes before your appointment and fill out your paperwork on-site.
Complimentary Consultation
Next, you will attend your complimentary 15 minute consultation with Dr. Lynch when you can find out whether or not this is something that may help you. If Dr. Lynch can help you, he will tell you. If Dr. Lynch doesn't believe he can help you, he will tell you that too and suggest a healthcare provider who may be able to. It is a win win either way.
Examination
If merited, after your consultation Dr. Lynch will perform a complete orthopedic and neurological examination. Dr. Lynch will test your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard and advanced neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent. We have been told by our patients many times that Dr. Lynch does the most thorough orthopedic and neurological exam that they have ever received.
X-Ray Studies
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to get a full evaluation of a patient. X-rays help rule out more serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan specifically for you. People are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Report of Findings
Once your consultation and examinations have been performed, Dr. Lynch will give you a report of findings. This is when Dr. Lynch tells you what he has and has not found. He will answer the three most popular questions:
1. Can you help me?
2. What do you recommend that I do to get better?
3. How much is it going to cost?
Treatment
Treatment may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. Treatment is tailered to meet your individual needs. There is never any twisting, popping or cracking as part of an adjustment in this office.
